Why sell locally

  • No shipping risk. Your cards never go in a box or through the mail.
  • Small sales welcome. Around St. Louis we’ll meet for a handful of good cards, not only big collections.
  • See it happen. We look through the cards with you, so you can ask about anything as we go.
  • No homework. Unsorted, unpriced and ungraded is how most collections arrive.

Send a few photos and your contact details, and we’ll reply with an offer or a few questions — then we can meet up to finish the sale, or you can ship if that’s easier.

How a St. Louis meetup works

  1. Tell us about the collection. Roughly how much you have and what kind of cards it is. A few photos of binder pages or boxes help a lot, especially for a longer trip — “not sure” is a fine answer to anything.
  2. We plan the meetup together. We’ll pick a day and a public spot in or near St. Louis that works for you.
  3. We go through the cards with you. Every card gets looked at, not just the ones that look valuable at a glance, and you can ask questions as we go.
  4. You get an offer — no obligation. One straightforward offer on the whole collection. If you say yes, you choose PayPal or store credit.

Where we meet — and staying safe

We always meet somewhere public in or near St. Louis that you’re comfortable with. We meet sellers across St. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. Charles County, Jefferson County, Washington, MO, Union, MO and the Metro East in Illinois.

Police-designated safe exchange spots nearby:

  • Chesterfield: Safe Exchange Zone at the Chesterfield Police Department (details)
  • Lake Saint Louis: Internet Exchange Area at the Lake Saint Louis Police Department (details)
  • Union (near Washington, MO): the Union Police Department lobby and parking lot, open for exchanges (details)

Check the official page for hours and rules before you go.

  • Meet in daylight somewhere busy — a police safe exchange spot, a coffee shop, a library or a bank lobby.
  • Bring someone along if you like, or let a friend know where you’ll be.
  • You’re paid by PayPal Goods & Services or store credit. We’ll never ask you to use Friends & Family, send a “test” payment or refund an overpayment — anyone who does is running a scam.
  • Large collection that’s hard to move? Tell us in the form and we’ll work out the easiest option together.

No surprises: how we set your offer

Until we see your cards in person, each one starts at a condition based on its age, because older cards almost always show more wear — even ones that were well looked after:

  • 2024 and newerstarts at Near Mint
  • 2016–2023starts at Lightly Played
  • 2006–2015starts at Moderately Played
  • 2005 or earlierstarts at Heavily Played
  • Your offer can go up or down. We check every card when it arrives. If a card is in better shape than its starting condition, your offer goes up; if it’s in worse shape, it goes down.
  • We tell you exactly what changed. If your offer moves, we’ll tell you which cards and why — and you still decide whether to accept.
  • Think a card is in better shape? Add a front and back photo when you list it, and we’ll take that into account.
  • You can still say no. If you decline after shipping your cards to us, we send them back — you just cover the return shipping.

Selling Pokémon, One Piece or video games too?

Plenty of Magic collections come with other things. We buy the Magic cards ourselves, and for the rest we connect you with a vetted partner store that buys them. Same easy process: tell us what you have, then meet up or ship.

Outside St. Louis? We travel about 6 hours for collections

For collections, we’ll come to you anywhere within about a 6-hour drive of St. Louis — across Missouri and Illinois and into Kansas, Iowa, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas and Oklahoma. Pick your area for details on the trip:

Not on the list? If you’re within that range, we’ll still come — and from anywhere else in the US, you can ship your cards to us.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I sell Magic cards in St. Louis?

Local game stores buy some cards, you can list them yourself on TCGplayer or eBay (roughly 13% or more in fees), or use local buy/sell/trade groups. Or sell to us: we're based in St. Louis and meet up anywhere in the metro — even for a few good cards — with one offer on everything, sorted or not. Our guide to where to sell cards in St. Louis compares every option.

Can I sell just a few cards, or does it have to be a whole collection?

Around St. Louis, a few good singles is plenty — we'll meet up for small sales as well as whole collections. You can also list individual cards on our Sell page and get an offer without meeting at all.

Where do we meet?

Somewhere public and convenient for you — anywhere in St. Louis City and County, St. Charles and Jefferson counties, Washington, MO, Union or the Metro East. Chesterfield and Lake Saint Louis police both have designated safe exchange spots, and the Union Police Department's lobby is open for exchanges. Coffee shops, libraries and bank lobbies work well too. For a large collection that's hard to move, tell us in the form and we'll work out the easiest option.

Do you meet in Washington, MO?

Yes. Washington and the rest of Franklin County are part of our meetup area. The closest police-designated exchange spot is the Union Police Department's lobby, a short drive away — or we can meet anywhere public in Washington that suits you.

Do you buy on the Illinois side of the river?

Yes. Belleville, O'Fallon, Edwardsville, Collinsville, Alton and the rest of the Metro East are local for us, just like St. Charles County and Jefferson County on the Missouri side.

How do you pay?

Your choice when you accept our offer: PayPal Goods & Services, or Geega Games store credit worth 20% more than the PayPal amount.

Do my cards need to be sorted or priced first?

No. Bring them exactly as they are — binders, boxes, bags or a mix. We go through everything, so sorting or pricing it yourself doesn't change the offer.

I'm outside St. Louis. Can I still meet up?

For collections, yes — we drive up to about 6 hours from St. Louis, from Kansas City and Des Moines to Chicago, Indianapolis, Louisville, Nashville, Memphis, Little Rock and Tulsa. Anywhere else in the US, you can ship your cards to us.
